  1. Yang laoshi is so boring. And off topic. I learned NOTHING in her lectures. Also, these teachers don't know how to grade fairly.
  2. If you're interested in working towards proficiency in Chinese, you should take this course. However, it's a bit of a drag. Yang Laoshi is not one of the better Chinese professors I've had here. I find her teaching methods to be extremely ineffective. Expect some sort of skit or performance every two weeks, usually with little or nothing of real value to the actual course content involved.
