Evaluation Comments for Hunisak J

  1. hard to get an A with hunisak. He is a stickler for all writing but this will really improve your writing skills. He can be a bit longwinded but is super passionateand an overall really good guy. I recommend Hunisak to all
  2. Professor Hunisak is wonderful. His lectures are interesting and class discussion are always stimulating. However, he does have high writing standards. Don't be surprised with a C on your first paper. But your grades do get better if you take his comments into consideration. I came out of the class as a better writer. This course also got me very interested in art history.
  3. Hunisak is a little bit of a weirdo at times, but overall he's a really good professor. He's very clear on what he expects for your writing, which is the point of the class. The information on Michelangelo is really interesting, you'll be a near expert by the end of the semester. The reading is not totally necessary, but it definitely helps on the papers. Overall the reading is mostly interesting, but some of it is insanely boring and dense. As far as seminars go, you can do way worse than this one, and you won't regret taking it at all.
  4. Hunisak is an amazing professor. He expects a lot form his students evidenced by his 4 or 5 writing assignments (about 25 pages total). He is a very hard grader, but is an amazing lecturer. I have never met anyone who had better knowledge of Renascence art history/history in general. The course itself is time consuming. If you are not into art history (like I was when I signed up for this seminar) then don't expect an easy A. Readings are dense, and there are a lot of them. You will know so much about MIchelAngelo tho!
