Evaluation Comments for Spritzer M

  1. No Comment
  2. Professor Spritzer was helpful and knowledgeable, but be prepared to spend the whole class copying notes from the board. It was often hard to focus at the end of classes because of the massive amount of information dumped on us without any participation. His exams were hard, but fair. They were almost entirely memorization of his lectures, but at least the standards were clear
  3. This is a pretty standard biology course, but it covers a lot of interesting topics. Professor Spritzer is extremely knowledgeable about the course material and a basic physiology course is important to have for any fundamental grounding in biology. I would definitely recommend this course to others.
  4. Lectures are pretty horrible - you sit and write the whole time without ever really listening to what Spritzer has to say. If you can, make sure you write everything down, beause exams come straight from what is discussed in class (you barely need to open your book).
  5. Interesting material, although presented entirely in the form of powerpoints. The reading was interesting, but everything is covered in class.
