  1. Kit Wilson is an incredible professor and it's no wonder why people try everything to try to get into any class he teaches. This class met only once per week, from 7:30-10:25 at night. This made it harder to stay awake in class, but the material was fascinating. Unlike other classes at Middlebury where you leave at the end of the semester and cannot remember anything or feel like you really took anything away from the class, with the way that Kit Wilson teaches I feel like I will always remember some of the topics and monuments and events discussed, and I will be able to use that knowledge for the rest of my life. That being said, there were only 3 short in-class quizes, and the final exam, which was worth 50 percent of your entire grade. The final covered everything so that took a great deal of studying but learning the material was fun. Kit is a really friendly, understanding guy, and I would recommend this class to anyone who would like an interesting class with an easy-going professor who really cares for the material he is presenting.
  2. This class was a warmed over presentation of things Kit Wilson has enjoyed and taken pictures of. Medieval art is a fascinating subject and Wilson truly failed to do it justice. Completely disorganized class, huge lecture. 3 exams and a final (for which he refused to give out even any information on what the test would be on). I found him very unhelpful during office hours.
