Evaluation Comments for Vazquez, E.

  1. Great professor and interesting class. He is a pretty difficult grader but he knows what he's talking about.
  2. Vazquez is incredibly young, hip, and nice, but his classes can be dry. Although his presentation is sometimes boring, the art and the readings are usually thought-provoking. He mixes up assignments, but there's a short paper, a major 10-page research paper, 3-4 mini-exams, and a final essay. Overall pretty decent, but not the best option for students new to Art History.
  3. The beginning of the semester had very interesting content, but didn't like the second half of the course
  4. eh- I really wanted to like this course, but vazquez sometimes made subjects that could have been fascinating pretty dry and boring. The texts didn't help with the course- in fact, reading them just made the material more complicated and confusing. Vazquez is a very nice and knowleadgable guy, but it was obvious that he was new to teaching. My advice would be to not take this course
  5. good class
