  2. The concepts presented in this class are fascinating. That said it is also one of the more challenging classes I've taken at Middlebury. Huang gives you class notes (printouts of his powerpoint slides) which is on one hand helpful - you can concentrate on him and the material, but they lack the depth that is really necessary to get a grip on everything. The programming HW assignments are challenging, but really cool when you get them working. The written work sucks, it relates to class material but is just painful to do. I'd reccomend this class to just about anyone, but unless you're a CS prodigy you're going to struggle - still worth it though. Huang's grading is tough, like in all of his other classes. Thankfully there is a curve. In short, if you're looking at this review you're interested enough to take the class, now do it.
