Evaluation Comments for O’Connor N

  1. First year French is a fantastic, fantastic time. O'connor is very kind and patient and puts beaucoup thought and planning into her classes. She's sweet and you learn as much as you try-- and even if you don't try, you're still going to learn a substantial amount of French. Really.
  2. Intro french is lots of work but worth it if you love the language. Nancy O'Connor is extremely patient and very nice. The homework isn't hard by any means but can be tedious, especially because it is daily. Much of it is self-motivated, though. You learn as much as you want to.
  3. Mme O'Connor is a great professor! She made my intro French experience truly wonderful and was always available to help clear up doubts and have a nice chat. Class could get boring, however, as the tempo was often slowed down for clarifications on vocabulary. The French in Action program was an instrumental element of the class. By the end of the year, you will learn to love Robert and Mireille. Also, the oral exams felt more like extended conversations and nothing like a firing squad. I loved the class!
