Evaluation Comments for Sfyroeras P

  1. i took this class and decided a classics major is not for me. it's a lot of memorization of grammar forms, and the practice translations in the book are boring. by the end of the semester i was pretty burned out on greek, but if you are motivated to get to the interesting stuff it's a necessary step. on the other hand, pavlos is absolutely amazing. he knows everything there is to know about etymology and talks about it in class frequently. he's a fair grader and gives a lot of homework and quizzes, so it's not like your grade rides on just a few tests. i just wish he taught something other than classics because i would take another class with him in a heartbeat.
