Evaluation Comments for T. Martin

  1. Professor Martin's lectures were hard to follow, taking notes was impossible, his class was impossible!! He did not write on the board, instead he preferred to bring in his notes already written up on transparencies. He moved through the transparencies too quickly reading everything on the sheet, and not giving us time to copy any of the notes into our notebooks. So I found myself copying half the notes, and missing the entire lecture because I couldn't keep up. The class assignments were too difficult, and the instruction in class to didn't help us with them.? I should have dropped this course before the drop deadline, but I was talked out of it by my advisor. As a result I failed the class, and had to switch majors. It is my recommendation to avoid Professor Martin at all costs.
