  1. not as easy as it's cracked up to be, but the field trips are fun and the course material is really cool. pete is the BEST. I thought he was a great teacher, and a great guy. laid back, happy to help, very smart - the quintessential midd professor. very hard final, though
  2. Great professor and fun labs.
  3. Pete is the man, the class was great, not super hard. On one lab, which were all field trips, Pete told us that when he vacations with his family, he has to let his wife drive so he can sit in the front seat and look at the rocks they go past. He's pretty passionate about geology.
  4. P. Ryan is awesome. He's goofy but he really knows his stuff. The class was really interesting and so were the labs (you get to go on hikes and stuff). It was great. I'll never look at the world the same way again and I am SO glad I took this course.
  5. Great Class. Labs are mostly field trips that really give you a good understanding of local geology. Lab write-ups take time if you want to get a good grade, but are pretty easy to write if you go to class and take good notes during lab. Professor Ryan is great. Take this class.
