Evaluation Comments for Coish, R.

  1. The class is boring. The grade distribution was bimodal on the tests--lots of As and lots of Cs. The science people got As and the non-science people looking for the SCI distribution credit got Cs. I took it because i wanted an additional science class without a lab because I love science and already had too many labs. I did well, but I studied, but it was so boring and not worth my time. If we didn't have a major assignment he gave us filler work which was mind numbing and dumb.

  3. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS WITH COISH!! It was by far my hardest class and had a ton of unnecessary busy work. I have never felt like I was wasting my time with a class as much as I did with this one. The tests were extremely hard and he is a ridiculously hard grader. Worst decision I've ever made to take this class at midd. The exams were not fair, and the homework assignments were repetitive and extremely long. For your own sake, do not take this class. It was more of a GEOL 401 class than a Geol 104.
  4. I thought this was going to be a rocks for jocks type of course. I was wrong, unlike what I've heard about professor West, Coish is a much harder grader and this is far from an easy course. Take with caution.
