Evaluation Comments for Kramer, K.

  1. No Comment
  2. This class was not very interesting, and I don't think I learned anything. My writing probably improved a little, and the books we read were great, but I didn't come away with a great understanding of them. The discussions tended to be fairly monotonous. Professor Kramer is pretty quiet but kind and extremely helpful and supportive. She sometimes had some very insightful comments, but I didn't think she was very good at leading discussions and engaging her students.
  3. a FASCINATING course with an incredible, fun prof!
  4. The material presented in this class is very interesting if you are a literature person. That being said, Professor Kramer can tend to dominate discussions and drone on and on about certain things. If you have a good group in which everyone is willing to participate it can be a very fun class, otherwise there can be a lot of awkward silences. If you love literature and are interested in the ideas of home, belonging, and travel I would recommend the class.
