  1. This class is most certainly worth your while. Take it! Newbury continuously presents the material in a new light. He really knows how to make everything intriguing, plus he looks like a mad scientist.

  3. Great class if you have any passing interest in Gothic and Horror films. You have to read a bunch of novels in the beginning of the class but it's mostly a film cours and the books are pretty entertaining. Newbury is a great professor and handles the subject matter really well.
  4. I am not a film junky, but I enjoyed the material that Newbury presented. I think he is one of the best lecturers at Middlebury. I suggest taking any class that he has to offer.
