  1. Helen is a wonderful, wonderful advisor. I spent many hours in her office over the course of this project, and she was always friendly and highly helpful (and often hilarious as well). She always had time for me when I needed to speak with her, and she was truly excited about my project and interested in the results. I graduated several years ago, and Helen and I have continued to keep in touch. She is a mentor and a friend. I would highly recommend working with Helen for your independent project.
  2. Helen was a great advisor - always available for guidance and direction. She gets very excited about the material you're working with and will help you think about how to plan and execute a great project.
