Evaluation Comments for Crouzieres-Ingenthron, A.

  1. Madame Crouzieres is a great french professor. She is the head of the department so she really knows her stuff, but she also invests herself in making sure that her students become better at french. Even if you already think you know a lot of french, this will really solidfy your grammar so that you have a really good base to really tackle the language here at the language. It meets five days a week so it is a lot of work but it is manageable. Since there is so much work it means that if you screw up an exam or something there is a lot of room to make it up... overall, great class and professor!!
  2. This class is definitely a grammar class. Madame is very friendly and sometimes funny. She really prompts everyone to participate, but she is always patient when you stumble over your words. Homework for any given night can be anywhere between 10 minutes to over an hour, but she mixes it up with readings, written answers, worksheets, videos, and the workbook. I will be continuing my studies in French and would look to take another class with her in the future.
  3. This class was so different from my high school French classes, but Professor Crouzieres makes the transition relatively easy. It was a lot of work overall but the professor made the material interesting. She is a fair grader, and if I were going to continue my studies in French, I would definitely take another class with her.
