  2. Profesor Garcia is a really nice and he is always willing to help. The class was boring at times but necessary to gain the skills needed for Spanish 220.
  3. i would recommend taking this course with chavez (aka Ricardo) or manrique-gomez. They have more teaching experience than enrique. But I'm sure enrique will get better with more experience in the future. still, enrique is very nice man + funny and always there when you need help.
  4. Professor Garcia does a good job of making the Spanish 210 material (boring in itself) interesting. His assignments are fun and a little different and his tests are a layup if you study. As far as mandatory classes go- this one is a gem.
  5. Professor Garcia is very nice, but he didn't manage to create a strong interest in the class. There was no point in reading the textbook since he was saying exactly the same in class, apart from the exaamples he gave. But since he is a new professor, he will hopefully get better!

  7. Enrique is really nice but class was pretty boring and repetitive. He didn't really manage to engage the students in discussion and answers often felt forced. The class is easy though and he is really enthusiastic. I'm sure he'll improve and become a better teacher with time.
  8. Although Professor Garcia can be hard to understand at some points, he is a very friendly and compassionate professor. I looked forward to going to class and enjoyed the friendly class atmosphere. He is very helpful and graded assignments very quickly. He cares about his students and enjoys his job, which makes a much more enjoyable class. If you are very serious about mastering spanish, I may recommend taking this class with a different professor, but I have really enjoyed having professor Garcia and would recommend this class to anyone.
  9. Garcia is the man. He's a little difficult to understand, but he's always available for office hours, something my classmates didn't take advantage of. Take this class, nicest guy and most understanding too. Tests are relatively easy, no midterm, final isn't cumulative, and 3 essays but he's always around to help and proofread.
