Evaluation Comments for Atherton C

  1. Not terribly interesting
  2. You're going to think this class is boring if you aren't interested in Asian art. You need to pay attention to get the details, but if you read all of the text, some of it is repetetive. It's possible to read less if you take good notes. Discussion sections can be pretty cheesy, but if you say at least one interesting thing, she won't pick on you. On the first day, Atherton is pretty intense- but don't be intimidated... Cynthia's secretly a big nerd.
  3. This class covers a lot of territory in a short period of time. It jumps around quite a bit, so it's not great for those who think linearly/chronologically. Atherton is very passionate about her subject matter, so it's hard not to like her enthusiasm. She's really nice, but very particular about deadlines. This is not a class for slackers, but it's great for those who are interested in the subject matter.
  4. Even if you aren't interested in art, Cythnia makes the class fun and interesting. You will have a great time and learn so much about Asian culture. Cinthia will somehow manage to make your day.
  5. kate lupo sucks
