Evaluation Comments for McCauley, M

  1. TERRIBLE PROFESSOR! She should stick to research. The class had such potential to be awesome and was so boring! She was not specific about what she wanted in assignments. Grades always lower than I expected.
  2. Prof McCauley is a very nice lady. She worked very hard with each student in helping them improve their writing. In that respect, she did a very good job. As far as lecturing, she did very little, so note taking was unnecessary. The class was entirely focused on the weekly topical debates. All the papers required extensive research. The most frustrating part of the class was the grading. She graded fairly, but was very far behind on getting papers back or letting you know how you performed during the debates. In her defense, she was teaching two writing seminars so she was slammed with papers constantly. The debates were filmed, which was a nice touch.
