  2. This class is a real gem if you are looking for a fun and easy class. There is no homework or exams... I will repeat that: NO exams. The only assignments in the class is a 10 page final paper that you have to do a presentation on for the class. There are readings that you can do for class but it is very easy to not do them and still participate in the discussion. You watch good interesting japanese films and the class atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Take this class.
  3. Cavanaugh is a very nice woman, but not the greatest teacher. She does know her stuff, but she tends to cram her opinion down your throat if you disagree with her. I didn't have that problem only because I said that I agreed with everything she said, whether I did or not. I figured that was the safest way to go. In terms of reading and homework, it was ridiculously easy.
