  2. I Love Karl and you will too. He loves to talk and tell stories about New England, or anything really. This ate up most of our class time, so it was more like wonderful storytime than lecture and discussion. Some of the readings were boring, others were fantastic. It was a great way to become familiar with the great states of Vermont and Maine (According to Karl, New Hampshire doesn't count because it is a trashy, toll-imposing, discount liquor barn filled S#*thole).
  3. This is a great freshman seminar because it is basically an introduction to the community in which we will live for the next four years. We learned a lot more about the culture of New England than college writing skills, but I would still recommend this class because of the social focus of the class and the amount you learn about the New England community.
  4. Found one of my favorite new authors, otherwise, would not recommend this class to anyone who wishes to learn how to write or even to experience a real college course.
