  1. Soo good! I loved Professor Wells and thought the class was great. There wasn't too much reading -- in fact, for a 300 level English class, it was very reasonable. I thought that our discussions of everything was very thorough, and even though Professor Wells always had a ton of great stuff to say about it, she pushed the class towards discussion. Also, there were two papers and a self-scheduled final. The papers and the exams required a reasonable amount of work and not too much.
  2. This course is definetly worthwhile. I found all the material very interesting and Prof Wells is a wonderful lecturer and discussion leader. As a negative, I think that there were too many things to read and so we didn't get to them all and some of them we barely discussed. She might have realized this and chaged it for the nex time she teaches the class, however.
  3. professor wells is an excellent teacher. if you're an english major (and even if you're not) you should take this class. or at least at class with prof wells
  4. Prof. Wells is probably my favorite professor at Middlebury. I loved this class!
  5. Love this class! Marion Wells is a great professor; she's knowledgeable, a wonderful lecturer, and clearly interested in her subject. She turned material that could potentially be boring or inaccessible into something really fascinating. Take this class! You won't regret it.
