Evaluation Comments for Moran, T.

  1. This class is not easy, but if you put in the effort you will be well rewarded. There is a lot of reading (sometimes 500+ pages between Monday and Friday) and it's not worth coming to class if you haven't done it. Prof. Moran is always willing to help with papers as long as you make the initial effort.
  2. This class is very informative but it's not most people's cup of tea. I find that Prof. Moran is a great zhongwen laoshi but not necessarily the best literature professor. Either way the material is stimulating and you get a good overview of Chinese modern lit.
