Evaluation Comments for Buettner, J.

  1. Musicianship is a good class to take after Theory I either if you do not feel prepared for Music I, or if you want a music theory class that focuses mostly on reading music and strengthening the ear. Prof. Buettner is good at explaining the material and makes the class entertaining. He teaches at a pace set by the students, so even though at times we have to sing out loud it is never intimidating. Most of the learning in this class comes from the homework (reading and exercises); only if you do it will your musicianship skills truly improve.
