Evaluation Comments for Baldridge

  1. Prof. Baldridge is good-he knows his stuffand helped me understand and interpret the literature. Great Expectations, Wuthering Hts., Pride and Prej., Frankenstein, Tess of the D'Urb. were great. Heart of Darkness and Middlemarch were unenjoyable. Discussions were a little slow at times, but overall a good course.
  2. This class is great if you love the Brontes, Jane Austin, Thomas Hardy, etc. Very straightforward high-school style lecture/discussion class (I found it got boring by the end of the semester). Baldridge is a pretty good professor, just not very personable outside of class.
