Evaluation Comments for Brayton

  1. Brayton's pet themes generally lie within the realm of historicism. Unless you are interested in reading these plays with constant attention to such themes relating to the contemporary socio/geo-political atmophere, metatextual references, etc., you will not find this class rewarding. I have to give Brayton credit for his efforts to appeal to our collective sense of humor, but honestly, I would much rather have a cynic like Cohen than an enthusiast like Brayton.
