Evaluation Comments for Morsman, A.

  1. I had heard good things about morsman, and i can see why-- hes a nice guy and very approachable and he has a funny, dry humor-- but his teaching style is SO BELOW average. he lectures without a goal in mind, without any visual aids or outlines of any sort. there seems to be a complete lack of organization of the material. he doesnt bother to teach the facts-- instead, he just reflects on general concepts of the time period (but he expects you to teach yourself the nitty gritty). paper topics are generally obscure, and the amount of reading is HUGE (and very dry). i lost any interest i had in revolutionary america, and i would strongly suggest against taking this class (or any other taught by morsman).
