Evaluation Comments for Muntendam, A

  1. Antje is such a nice person and works really hard to make the material interesting and to be available to her students. This was her first year teaching at Middlebury, so I think she may have been a little bit easier at grading than most other Professors here. The material was interesting, but often repetitive; however, I think that is only natural since Spanish in the United States is still a relatively new topic so there is not a ton of literature written about it yet. For example, a lot of our readings were in English since Spanish writers have yet to write on this American subject. There are two papers (one long 10 pager and one shorter 4-6 pager), weekly trabjaos escritos and reading, an oral presentation and 2 exams.
