Evaluation Comments for Briggs

  1. Very mathy and theoretical; got a little bit meta at the end. Work with other people to make sure you understand the material, and read the book if really necessary. The instructor was pretty good at explaining the concepts until the very end, where it was clear she understood what she was saying but wasn't explaining the material in the clearest way for students to understand.
  2. Very theoretical class, taught by the book, but reasonably engaging and interesting. Briggs teaches the class in a very straightforward manner, and it's not very hard if you keep up.
  3. No comment
