Evaluation Comments for Pyle, W

  1. No Comment
  2. There is alot more of an economic focus in this course than I thought and the readings were mostly long and dry. Pyle tries really hard though and you can tell he is passionate about the subject.
  3. Professor Pyle is very knowledgeable about contemporary and Soviet Russia. Class focuses a lot on economics, slightly obviously given that he is a Econ professor. The material of the class is a bit tedious, lots of readings. Nevertheless, you definitely gain lots of knowledge on Russian society. If you have an interest in Russia, you will enjoy it. ps. Start your final assignment early!
