Evaluation Comments for Bates, J

  1. Jennifer is a little too 'by-the-book' for a creative writing prof. She doesn't do so well stimulating discussions and her grading is sporadic, especially concerning prose. She's pretty good with poetry. What's nice is you get to cover everything in this class and she does give some good ideas to guide your pieces. A decent creative writing class if you're just looking for something casual but it's really the students who drive this class and not the professor.
