Evaluation Comments for Evans D

  1. Prof. Evans assigns a lot of reading, but is very chill about class discussions. Her technique of using the first lecture of each week for historical context was enriching, but dragged at times. Assessment was 2 longish papers and a final, with weekly reading reflections. She is not an efficient grader -- we didn't get anything back until over halfway through the semester -- but is very fair. Overall a solid class. You get what you put into it in terms of reading.
