  4. Could be a good course. There are great books and authors. However, I found Millier to be a passionate feminist and I thought she was unfair to guys. Discussions were good, but lectures lacked flow and cohesion. She switches from concept to concept abruptly and without warning. She is a difficult grader, she ripped my life appart on both my paper and mid-term. If you need to fill a requirement, I'd take it, but not with her. Also she assigns a lot of reading and breezes through it very quickly. Try covering T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land" in one day and you'll know what im talking about. Also, I think that she has fake eyebrows.
  5. Millier is a brilliant teacher. You will read important and wonderful books in this class, and because of the weekly short papers and comprehensive exams these works will stay with you.
  6. Professor Millier is a knowledgeable and interesting lecturer and the class is a good blend of lecture and discussion. It's not very difficult, but the books are valuable and interesting, with good authors.
  7. I love Millier, I've taken a lot of classes with her. She's sweet, the material's great, it's never hard to talk to her before you write a paper (which I'd really, really recommend doing), but oh my God, even if she likes your paper, she won't give you a good grade.
