  1. No Comment
  2. Pavlos' lecture style can be dense at times, but he is nevertheless my favorite professor at Middlebury and leads very good discussions. A nodding acquaintance with ancient Greek literature, from which practically all Western writing can trace roots is, in my opinion, vital to the liberal arts education.
  3. I learned a lot in Pavlos' Ancient Greek Lit. It was a lot of reading, and not being a Classics major I knew significantly less than other people, but I made sure to talk with the prof for help--he's extremely friendly and helpful if you go to him personally. We read a lot of really important material, and I got a good base in greek philosophy and reading classical literature. I really, really value what I learned.
