Evaluation Comments for Wilson

  1. I've always loved Winslow Homer's artworks ever since studying his oeuvre briefly in a general art history course in high school. Although art history is not my intended major, I've tried to take at least one art history course every semester here at Middlebury and this course, by far, has been the best. However, I have to say that in terms of the amount of information expected to be learned (not equivalent to the amount needed for an A which turned out to be much lower) was higher than in his other course. A truly enriching course and one all students (regardless of intended major or "experience" in art history) will enjoy. Professor Wilson is a highly qualified art historian and it shows in this course. On a side note, the number label (408) really holds no significance in indicating difficulty unlike other departments.
