Evaluation Comments for Nash

  1. Prof. Nash is a great teacher and is really passionate about his subject matter. I enjoyed the readings, lectures, and disscussions thoroughly. The only downside is that Prof. Nash is a very hard grader with outlandish expectations (for instance, we were expected to write between 7 and 10 pages for our midterm examination in a three hour time limit).
  2. Nash is phenomenal. He is humble, caring and brilliant. He cares about the readings too, and will only assign/hold you accountabler for important and interesting material. This class should be capped at 25, but he?s to nice to do that. Discussions are thought provoking and pertinent to everyday life. My outlook on race relations has been forever changed by this course. Take it if you can- it will enrich your life.
  3. Professor Nash is a great professor - he's passionate about his work and this comes across in lectures. He's also a very understanding and kind person - always willing to help his students. I took this class not having much interest in African American literature but found the reading very interesting and worthwhile.
