Evaluation Comments for Takahashi M

  1. Takahashi sensei is just a pure bundle of energy and amazingness. He's very quirky and knows the right methods to help students learn the language and retain it. He really helps keep the class spirit levels up and to keep us all engaged.
  2. No Comment
  3. Great Class!
  4. He's so funny and entertaining. But I must say he's one of the fastest speaker among JAPN0101 teachers (there are 4 teachers). Some found that his tests were slightly harder than other teachers, but overall JAPN0101 is an easy A course. I enjoyed his enthusiasm throughout the course.
  5. Takahashi is so great! He is soo funny and his personality really makes learning the language fun, even though it can be a challenge. Definitely take this course!
  6. Takahashi sensei is awesome! he makes class so much fun. you have to be active in this class, you can't just not study. you've gotta know your vocab and memorize your dialogues, hiragana, etc, but class is more fun if you're prepared.
  7. Takahashi sensei is AMAZING!!! He is seriously the funniest professor I've ever had and had many students laughing out loud in class. I looked forward to all of his classes!
  8. Takahashi sensei is legendary! I took Japanese mainly for LNG distribution at first but now I'm totally into it!
  9. TAKE JAPANESE! There is daily homework, but the amounts are reasonable. The tests are also very reasonable and don't ask you to pull any random Japanese sententances out of the air. Though a rather intense language, ALL of the professors are friendly, great instructors, and really love what they're teaching (probably because 3/4ths of them are Japanese...but oh well). Anyway, the hardest part is the amount of time demanded (outside that of ONLY doing the bare minimum and finishing the homework). Starting a new langauge means that you can't just sit back and listen in class; there is a lot of time that has to be taken to memorize vocab, grammer, etc., but if you don't mind the work load of a new language, Japanese is definately an awesome way to go. Plus, Takehashi is one of the FUNNIEST people I have ever met.
  10. This professor is kick-ass!
  11. Takahashi-sensei is hilarious! The whole department is really friendly and helpful. My favorite class this semester.
  12. Another professor who did our drill sections. Takahashi is a great professor and can be very funny. Sometimes class included dialogues and games, which really helped. Sometimes I thought he moved a little too fast, but overall if you're going to take Japanese you certainly can't go wrong with Takahashi!
