  1. easy class, but rather dull and all over the place. the painting part is very shallow, take modern art instead, it's much much better. the professor loves the sound of her voice, so you won't get to speak much french.
  2. I would say this class was easy, I sometimes didn't do my readings, but I didn't have big problems. However, the professor is very enthusiastic and friendly. If you like 19th century French art or poetry, I strongly recommend this course.
