  2. Sandwick is an amazing Chem 104 Professor. He teaches you the basics of what you need to know if you intend to go onto higher level sciences (organic chemistry) but also connects chemistry with real life, giving examples to the non-science major of how chemistry is applicable, from how batteries work to how redox reactions clean your dishes. He can be a little vague at times, since he doesn't follow a direct syllabus, but do the book problems (including the ones that aren't assigned) and you should be good. He takes the time to answer most questions, and he is a fair grader.
  3. Rog is awesome, and the class was pretty interesting, although the labs weren't too fun.

  5. He is fabulous! Very fun to be around. Always able to help or explain concepts numerous times in different manners. Final was challenging, however tests and homework assignments, along with labs, were fair. Overall he is very entertaining and I love his in class demos!
  6. Simply put, Rog is an awesome guy. He always tries to make class interesting and he is usually successful. The tests weren't too difficult and there was never any surprise as to what was going to be on the test.

  8. Quite simply, Rog is the man. He is a good lecturer, gives excellent examples, and is a very fair grader. You are blessed if you get him for 103 or 104. To call him a god would be a gross understatement. Take this class.
  9. Rog is the man. But it is really boring material and I thought the tests were pretty hard.

  12. Didn't particularly enjoy the material but Roger's such a great prof. that it's worth it.
  13. Rog is awesome! Material is a little boring if you have already taken AP Chem, but gets much more interesting at the end of the semester. With Rog this class is very fun and I would definitely recommend him as a chemistry teacher.
  14. Rog is a great professor who really wants his students to do well. The homeworks were easy but effective in going over the material. He does not follow the textbook, which is something I appreciate because I felt like I was learning from him instead of just reading. As a result of this, you don't really need to read unless there is a specific concept you do not understand--everything that is on the tests is learned in class.
