Evaluation Comments for Isham, J

  1. Prof. Isham is so excited about this class that it is hard to not get involved in it. It's a small seminar and I really liked the other students in it but as for actual content, you get easily lost in the abyss of Development 3.0 and "how the solution is the problem." It is interesting in that you feel like you have good discussions every day!
  2. This class offered insights into social entrepreneurship, microfinance, and other innovative ways of solving the world's problems. However, it was muddled and confusing and left us at a loss for the takeaway messages of many of the topics. Sometimes it was intresting, sometimes not. I would hesitate to recommend this class to others.
