Evaluation Comments for Andres G

  1. andres is a GREAT prof. if you're into arch, you'll love this course. that said, it is 3 hours a week in a dark lecture hall and a lot of slides. even so, his lectures were captivating and the outside reading was really optional.
  2. Very interesting subject. Architecture used to be my least favorite part of art history but this class really made it come alive. You learn alot from Andres' lectures. His lectures are so good you can get away with not doing the assigned readings, as long as you pay attention in class and take good notes. He does expect pretty intelligent analysis and has high standards for grading.
  3. Very interesting material, and Professor Andres has a great voice for lecturing. It was also fairly difficult, as someone mentioned, the slides were very important to the midterm and exam, but made for long, tedious studying.
  4. Andres is brilliant, the class is difficult but also wonderfully rewarding.
  5. One of the best classes in my 4 years. Glen Andres is an AMAZING professor. There were no disucussions. The amount of time per week depended on paper deadlines/ tests.
  6. Topic was interesting, class was boring... Exams were slide-oriented, a million slides to study, only 40 on the exam. That can really catch you. There was never any interaction with the professor, it was all lecture.
