Evaluation Comments for Nunley, C.

  1. Professor Nunley is a super nice guy, and pretty entertaining in class. I didn't get very much out of the class, though, mostly because I didn't do all the of the assigned reading and homework. I didn't feel like I was getting very much out of it when I did do it, just because my mastery of French was not where it should have been in order to be reading the books we were.... If I had had more time and more self-discipline, I would've liked to do all the reading, but as it stood, only about five people out of 20 participated in the discussions, and Nunley made it all too easy to slip through the cracks.
  2. Great class, I learned a bunch and I can tell my french got substantially better by the end of the semester. I loved Nunley, he was hilarious especially when we did Moliere and he makes you come to conclusions without telling you just what he thinks. The class was fairly time consuming, and the beginning of the class is a little difficult because you are learning how to write an essay in the French format, but by the end of the class, you feel much more confident in your writing abilities.
