  2. Great class. Fernandez is engaging and interesting and clear.
  3. Fernandez is probably as good as they come for spanish. His lectures are fun and engaging and he has a great sense of humor. My only problem with him was the papers he assigned were silly in a lot of ways and poorly designed. Also, I found him to be a relatively hard grader. It almost seemed as though whatever grade you get on the first assignment follows you through the course plus or a few points. Overall though he is a great guy and makes what could be a boring and repetetive class interesting.
  4. This is a good final grammar course that covers alot of material but isn't extremely difficult. Professor Fernandez is great...class is really fun and he is always available to answer questions. Take his classes!
  5. Miguel Fernandez is a great professor- funny and engaging, but you do have to stay awake or he'll pick on you. He's big on participation, you can't just hide for an hour, but he's not at all mean. Spanish220 is kinda useful- more grammar is always a good idea. On the whole though, you don't need to do much work since we've all seen the grammar before. It's a decent class, much better if you can get it w/Fernandez!!
  6. Great class, definately a step up from 210. It's hard but definately makes you better at Spanish and Miguel has a really easy-going class atmosphere.
  7. Prof. Fernandez is very straightforward, and while exams aren't EXACTLY what you expect, you'll do well enough if you've got your act basically together. A good course for grammar review.
