Evaluation Comments for Ferdinán

  1. This class could be interesting, but don't take it with Ferdinan. My ability to speak confidently sort of atrophied in this class-- mainly because we didn't speak conversationally, and also b/c it was intimidating.
  2. I thought the way the class was structured was not conducive to participation, and I also felt like the students were expected to do all the teaching while the Professor did nothing but mark us down on exams for grammar mistakes which we hadn't even reviewed! I really disliked this class, only take it if you need it for the major or to go abroad.
  3. I enjoyed the class even though some of the texts were boring. It seemed to me a more analyzing literature class, which I particularly liked. Ferdinan is a very easy grader, so don't get too stressed about your grade in this course. One should be at a very beginning level in Spanish in oredr not to be able to successfully complete the tasks that he assigns.
