  2. This class is PERFECT if you need an easy class to supplement an otherwise demanding schedule. I took this class to fulfill my AAL requirement and hoped it would not require a great time committment because of my 3 heavy science classes...I did a few of the readings, took notes in lecture and wrote the one required essay and did just fine. I feel like I learned a lot that I never would have known had I not taken the class--and all of the info. needed to do well seems to be provided in lecture. Lectures are a bit dry since Wyatt reads right from his notes, but the interesting material compensates for that. We watched a lot of movies to supplement the lectures--nice, unstressful way to fulfill the CMP/AAL requirements.
