  1. Su is a wonderful teacher, though she can keep the pace moving a little fast for those of us with less music background than others. Still, excellent course.
  2. Su is amazing, by far my favorite professor here. Her classes are small and she really takes time to know everyone. She is interesting, resourceful, and always encouraging. Her class is so much fun. I highly recommend both Music 209 and 210 with Su Tan.
  3. Su seems to believe in learning by doing, so apart from some extremely useful ear training and notation exercises, most of our classes had little structure. The composition exercises were very fun. Our class totally bonded and by our end-of-term concert we were having SO much fun together; Su is a crazy trip. Rock on.
