  2. Roman Graf is a very energetic, enthusiastic, warm personality. The class is fun and informal - it's only 15 students so everyone contributes. While the analysis of fairy tales might not give me a doctorate, the material is fascinating and it has taught me to appreciate folk stories in relation to historical events and cultural values in a way I never have before. The class touches a bit on psychology, a bit on history, a bit on analytical methods, and of course, the fairy tales themselves are fun and light reading. You should have a conversational grip on German to really get the most out of this course.
