Evaluation Comments for Grasswick H

  1. This class was extremely boring. We seemed to go over the same concepts every day. Discussions were dominated by a few people, while every one else just sat back and daydreamed. The readings were not very stimulating. I went into the class thinking that it would be a great opportunity to learn about how my interests (science) affects society, however, I don't feel like I finished the class with a much greater knowledge of the philosophy of science and society than I had going into the class.
  2. I loved professor Grasswick! She did an excellent job leading this discussion based class. I also liked the fact that she made the material easy for non-philo majors to understand. Anybody in the science field who needs to fill a distribution requirement should take this class.
