Evaluation Comments for Nunley, C.

  1. One of the most enjoyable experiences. Academically, the class is not as challenging as one may think from the reading list--there are only two papers for the entire semester, but you learn more than you realize from all the talking that is involved with putting a play together; you can actually say that you speak "conversational" french after this class! With the extra play rehearsals, the class takes more time than the course schedule admits, but it's fun. Few classes become as close a group as this class becomes, and it's a nice reminder of why speaking French is so enjoyable. From the get-go, with his odd ice-breakers and crazy exercises, Nunley makes the class a comfortable and silly environment for people to want to "play."
  2. It was really fun, but somewhat disorganized because it was the first year. Nunley is somewhat demanding of your time, but there was minimal actual academic work. Overall, a great experience!
