  1. I have very mixed feelings about this class. I would not suggest taking it, but since Prof. Burnham is leaving that really isn't an issue. Essays were returned really late (we only got 2/5 back) and there would be 3 tiny corrects and the grade would be a B. She must have curved the class because I ended up doing well but I was clueless if my grade was going to be an A or a C until grades came out. Class was pretty pointless, but the end no one did the reading and she kept letting us go early. I feel like my FYS experience could have been a lot better. Look for teachers that teach FYS"s a lot even if its not exactly what you are interested in.
