  6. I had a very small class so discussions were very intimate and you had to do all the reading because otherwise you stood out. Besides that, he does an amazing job of getting you to talk on a topic even though you think you may really not know that much. He encourages discussion by bringing up excellent discussion prompts and is a great moderator for discussions. He is hilariously funny and sometimes tends to digress WAY off topic but it ends up being relevant. He knows his stuff and is always ready to help, in or out of class. I'd highly recommend another class with him if you ever get the chance.
